LEGENDS CAR No. 26

2002 - NEW SEASON

And just like that the holidays are over and the new season is starting.  Our 2002 SCLA season is full of racing opportunities with 42 asphalt and dirt oval races, and 27 road course races to choose from.  The scoring for our season will be based on points from the best 20 finishes from races on our schedule.  We will be running more races in San Diego this season, thanks to Barona Speedway having us back for 5 races, and Nerdboy.com's owner Jeff Collins locking in a 10 race series, the NERDBOY 7500 at Cajon Speedway.  The first test session we will attend is on March 9th at Irwindale Speedway, then to Cajon Speedway on March 16th.  The first race for the GRAHAM Motorsports Legends Cars #26 is on March 23 at the Cajon Speedway.    val-cup.jpg (17296 bytes)

This season is also the inaugural Valvoline Cup National Championship points series, which we are entered in the 'Scaled' Stock division. This series allows different classes of cars and drivers from all over the United States to compete against each other by registering their finish results in the Valvoline Cup online points system.  The Valvoline Cup team have designed a great website, allowing local racers to gain more exposure through the association with their series. Each racer is given a web page to build a profile, where they can add pictures and information about their racing venture, and update their finish results during the season.  It's well worth a visit.

Their is much to look forward to this season with more races and more money than ever for the Southern California Legends Association, and more tracks wanting good racing programs to fill their ticket and give fans a great show.  The SCLA is a good organization, and can put on an exciting race.  These Legends Cars are a hole lotta fun, and I have enjoyed racing with this group. This new season is sure to be as exciting as ever, and we are looking forward to getting started.

We at GRAHAM Motorsports are proud to announce the acceptance of the FEED THE CHILDREN organization to allow us to help promote awareness in their fight against hunger for needy children around the world. As well as displaying their logo on our car, we have also chosen to sponsor a child through their wonderful organization. Please visit their website at http://www.feedthechildren.com to see about helping to relieve the suffering of very needy children.

See you at the races,

Bob Graham III
